LTC4162 Step-Down Battery Chargers

Analog Devices Inc. LTC4162 Step-Down Battery Chargers are highly-integrated high-voltage, multi-chemistry synchronous monolithic chargers with PowerPath™ manager. The LTC4162 offers onboard telemetry functions and optional maximum power point tracking (MPPT). The device provides efficient power transfers from a wide variety of input sources, including wall adapters, backplanes, and solar panels. The LTC4162 Chargers have advanced system monitoring and battery health monitoring. Most of the charging features on the LTC4162 use pin-strap configurations and programming resistors for configuration. A 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) contained within the LTC4162 continuously monitors numerous system parameters on command, including input voltage, input current, battery voltage, battery current, output voltage, battery temperature, die temperature, and battery series resistance (BSR).
