TLC6C5748-Q1 48-Channel PWM LED Driver

Texas Instruments TLC6C5748-Q1 48-Channel PWM LED Driver is a 48-channel, 16-bit constant-current sink driver. Each channel has an individually-adjustable pulse width modulation (PWM), grayscale (GS) brightness control with 65,536 steps and 128 steps of constant-current dot correction (DC). DC adjusts brightness deviation between channels. All channels have a 128-step global brightness control (BC). BC adjusts brightness deviation between the R, G, B color groups. The eight-step maximum current control (MC) selects the maximum output current range for all channels of each color group. GS, DC, BC, and MC data are accessible with a serial interface port. The Texas Instruments TLC6C5748-Q1 has three error flags: LED open detection (LOD), LED short detection (LSD), and thermal shutdown (TSD). The error detection results can be read with a serial interface port.

IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.
