Industriële communicatie en bediening

Industriële communicatie en bediening van Littelfuse biedt bescherming voor RS-485- en Ethernet-toepassingen. De industriële RS-485 is voorzien van de mogelijkheid voor het aansturen van meerdere poorten, is gecertificeerd voor een snelheid van 10 Mbps en de transmissieafstand loopt tot 1500 m. Industrieel Ethernet biedt transmissie over een afstand tot 100 m en is gecertificeerd tot 30 W PoE+ en voor snelheid gecertificeerd op 1 Gbps. RS-485- en Ethernet-apparatuur voor industriële communicatie en bediening van Littelfuse is ideaal voor energiemeters, fabrieksautomatisering, besturing van windenergie en mens-machine-interfaces. 

RS-485 ESD, Lightning, & Power Fault Protection

Littelfuse RS-485 ESD, Lightning, and Power Fault Protection feature polymeric positive temperature coefficients (PPTCs) that can protect against short circuit and power crosses. The RS-485 product line includes the resettable PPTCs, TVS diodes, GDTs, and SIDACtor series. The TVS Diode Arrays and SM712 series are specifically designed to protect RS-485 applications from ESD, EFT, and lightning-induced surges. When lightning occurs, the SIDACtor will react by causing voltage to increase across PPTC until GDT fires. 

3mm 2-Pole Chip Type Gas Discharge Tubes

TE Connectivity 3mm 2-Pole Chip Type Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) help protect sensitive telecom equipment applications such as communication, signal, and transmission lines from lightning strikes and equipment switching operations. These devices offer a high level of surge protection, low capacitance, and a broad array of breakover voltage levels from 75V to 4000V, making them suitable for applications such as high data-rate telecom communication network protection (e.g. ADSL, VDSL).

Ports need protection from common electrical hazards such as lightning surges, induced power surges, power cross, electrical fast transient, electrostatic discharge, and short-circuits due to aging wires or installation errors. Gas Discharge Tubes

Littelfuse Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) are designed for high-voltage transient surge protection in small devices. Littelfuse GDTs are designed to dissipate large amounts of energy and are ideal for lightning surge protection. GDTs are widely applied to outdoor telecommunications equipment. These Littelfuse devices are available in leaded and surface-mount configurations.
