STM32WL3x Low-Power Sub-GHz Wireless MCUs
STMicroelectronics STM32WL3x Low-Power Sub-GHz Wireless MCUs are designed to provide efficient long-range communication for IoT applications. Built on the Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core, these microcontrollers operate at up to 64MHz and integrate a sub-GHz dual radio, offering high flexibility and reduced bill of materials (BoM) costs. With up to 256K-bytes of flash memory and 32K-bytes of SRAM, the STM32WL3x line supports multiple modulation schemes, including 4-(G)FSK, (G)MSK, DBPSK, DSSS, OOK, and ASK. The main radio provides long-range connectivity with an RX sensitivity of up to -132dBm and a programmable TX power of up to +20dBm. Additionally, the dedicated wake-up radio ensures ultra-low power consumption, achieving down to 4.2μA in always-on mode. These features make the STM32WL3x MCUs ideal for applications such as smart homes, city infrastructure management, asset tracking, and various IoT devices.
