Due to their internal insulation by DCB, it is possible to use the same heat sink for multiple devices, reducing thermal management efforts. This SMPD is pick-and-place ready for assembly on existing SMD assembly lines. Numerous discrete devices can be successfully combined into a single high-reliability package, which can then be easily assembled on current SMD assembly lines.
