32-bit Microprocessors

SAM9CN11 / CN12 ARM926™ MPUs

Microchip SAM9CN11 / SAM9CN12 ARM926™ processor-based microcontrollers (MCUs) target cost-sensitive applications that require security features in addition to graphics LCD and user interface software. SAM9CN11 and SAM9CN12 expand Microchip's existing ARM® processor-based portfolio by offering an anti-counterfeiting solution. These ARM926 microprocessors support secure boot and a hardware cryptographic engine required for secured applications. These new devices also include an extensive set of communication peripherals with full-speed USB host and device, up to seven UARTS, multiple SPI, I²C, and one SDIO/SDCard/MMC interface. These Microchip devices support SDRAM for low system cost and DDR2 memory for more memory-intensive applications.
