TVS Silicon Protection Arrays (SPA)

Littelfuse Silicon Protection Array (SPA®) TVS Diodes are designed to protect electronics from very fast and damaging voltage transients, such as lightning and electrostatic discharge (ESD). These diodes offer an ideal protection solution for I/O interfaces and digital and analog signal lines in computer and consumer portable electronics. Littelfuse TVS diodes offer a broader application use and improved impulse protection performance over conventional diodes.

General-Purpose ESD Protection SPA Diodes

Littelfuse General-Purpose ESD Protection SPA Diodes protect electronics from transient voltage damage. The wide selection offers diodes that meet industry requirements to solve multiple exposure issues. Typical applications for Littelfuse General-Purpose ESD Protection SPA Diodes include 10/100/1000 Ethernet, DC powerlines, and general I/O.

SC7538-08UTG 0.3pF TVS Diode Arrays

Littelfuse SC7538-08UTG 0.3pF TVS Diode Arrays integrate eight channels of ultra-low capacitance rail-to-rail diodes and an additional Zener diode for protecting electronic equipment from electrostatic discharge (ESD). The Littelfuse SC7538-08UTG TVS diode arrays safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes above the maximum level, ±8kV contact discharge, as specified in the international standard IEC 61000-4-2, without performance degradation (±8kV contact discharge). The low loading capacitance also makes the series ideal for protecting high-speed signal pins, such as V-by-One, HDMI, USB3.0, USB2.0, and IEEE 1394.

Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations. 

Automotive TVS Diodes

Littelfuse AEC-Q101 Qualified TVS Diodes protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by load dump and other transient voltage events. These AEC-Q101 qualified devices offer peak pulse power dissipation ratings of 400W (SZ1SMA) to 3000W (TPSMD). Littelfuse AEC-Q101 Qualified TVS Diodes are ideal for applications such as DC power protection and ESD protection in automotive electronics such as electronic control units, sensors, and entertainment systems, as well as in portable devices that require high reliability.
