The AMD / Xilinx KC705 board has features common to many embedded processing systems, including a DDR3 SODIMM memory, an 8-lane PCI Express® interface, a tri-mode Ethernet PHY, general purpose I/O, and a UART interface.

Virtex®-7 FPGA VC709 Connectivity Kit

AMD/Xilinx Virtex®-7 FPGA VC709 Connectivity Kit is a development tool for the Virtex-7 XC7VX690T-2FFG1761C Field Programmable Gate Array. FPGAs are semiconductor devices based around a matrix of configurable logic blocks (CLBs) connected via programmable interconnects. The board provides features common to many embedded processing systems, including dual DDR3 small outline dual-inline memory modules (SODIMM) memories, an 8-lane PCI Express® interface, general-purpose I/O, and a UART interface. AMD/Xilinx Virtex-7 FPGA VC709 kit includes a connectivity GUI built on Fedora Live OS, which includes software drivers. The 40Gb/s board includes a VITA-57 FPGA mezzanine connector (FMC) with attached mezzanine cards.
