STMicroelectronics STEVAL-0608Y1V8 Evaluation Board
STMicroelectronics STEVAL-0608Y1V8 Evaluation Board is a step-down switching power supply based on the DCP0608Y regulator. The board evaluates a programmed 1.8V output and up to 8A continuous current from a 5V operating input, with support for input operation up to 6V. The STEVAL-0608Y1V8 board employs a 2.25MHz switching frequency with dithering and supports frequency adjustment via an external clock on the MODE/SIN pin or by varying the frequency programming resistor.
The STMicroelectronics STEVAL-0608Y1V8 Board supports selection between dynamic low-consumption and low-noise modes, synchronization to an external clock, and output sequencing via the SS/TRK pin. The DCP0608Y integrates low-resistance N-channel MOSFETs, a diode-emulation operating mode, internal compensation, and a 0.6V reference to achieve ±1.5% output-voltage accuracy over temperature variations. Protection features include auto-recovery overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal protection, while the RST/PGOOD pin provides real-time output voltage.
