Diodes Incorporated PI5USB30213 USB 3.1 Switch with I²C Control

Diodes Incorporated PI5USB30213 is a bi-directional, dual differential channel Mux / DeMux switch for USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C connector applications. The switch includes a plug-in detector for Type-C connectors (CC Sensing), an integrated 2:1 USB 3.1 mux/demux, and an integrated VCONN switch to power active cables. Diodes Incorporated PI5USB30213 supports both I2C and pin control based on ADDR pin setting. This device utilizes CC pins for port attachment, detachment, role detection, cable orientation, and Type-C current mode control. The PI5USB30213 also delivers high-speed signal integrity at low-power dissipation.
