Infineon Technologies EVAL-1ED3330MC12M-SiC Evaluation Board

Infineon Technologies EVAL-1ED3330MC12M-SiC Evaluation Board is designed to evaluate 1ED3330MC12M isolated gate driver Integrated Circuits (ICs) and discrete power switches in a half-bridge configuration. The Infineon EVAL-1ED3330MC12M-SiC board includes two 1ED3330MC12M ICs and a galvanically isolated onboard power supply generated with the 2EP130R transformer driver IC. The board includes two, unassembled IMZC120R012M2H CoolSiC™ 1200V SiC Trench MOSFETs in a TO247-4 package, which can be substituted to evaluate other Infineon switches.

      • Reinforced isolation as per IEC 60747-17 (planned) with VIORM = 1767V
  • PCB layout designed to ensure optimal switching performance of the half-bridge
  • Built-in configurable onboard isolated power supply for the gate driver output side, easily adjustable to generate typical bipolar driving voltages
  • Built-in power supply for gate driver input side, easily configurable to generate 3.3V or 5V
  • Fast short circuit protection and feedback
  • Undervoltage Lock-Out (UVLO) for all the gate driver supply voltages
  • Interlocked Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) inputs for shoot-through protection
  • Test points for monitoring critical signals
  • Onboard isolated power supply designed with the 2EP130R transformer driver IC
    • Wide 4.5V to 20V input voltage range
