KEMET R41 & R46 Series Film Capacitors

KEMET R41 and R46 Series Film Capacitors are metallized polypropylene Film Capacitors that have self-healing properties. The R41 and R46 Series Film Capacitors from KEMET are used as interference suppressors for across-the-line applications and are suitable for use where failure of the capacitor could lead to danger of electric shock. The R41 series replaces the R73 series.

R41B series capacitors offer a 2.2nF to 1.2µF capacitance range, high-temperature capability up to +125°C, and a life of 2000 hours. These AEC-Q200 qualified capacitors have 350VAC and 1500VDC voltage ratings and a lead space pitch of 10mm to 37.5mm. R41B series capacitors are for use in electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression filters in "line-to-ground" and "across-the-line" applications requiring Y2/X1 safety classification.

R41D Capacitors are constructed of metallized polypropylene film and are encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin, meeting the requirements of UL 94V-0. These devices are AEC-Q200 qualified and feature Y2/X1 MKP technology, making them suitable for use in EMI suppression filters in "line-to-ground" and "across-the-line" applications that require Y2/X1 safety classifications.

KEMET R41-T Capacitors offer up to 1500VDC rated voltage, 15mm to 22.5mm lead spacing, and ENEC, UL, cUL, and CQC approvals. The R41-T series feature metallized polypropylene film construction, encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin, making them suitable for use in situations where failure of the capacitor could lead to danger of electric shock.
