Lumileds LUXEON CoB Core Range (Gen 3)

Lumileds LUXEON CoB Core Range Generation 3 LEDs are about 20% brighter than generation 1 LUXEON CoBs while keeping the same cost. This improvement allows the flexibility to have an improved drop-in replacement, or pick a smaller COB in the GEN 3, to keep similar performance, lowering design cost. LUXEON CoBs offer a breakthrough in efficacy and uniformity for lighting arrays.

Due to its industry-leading small Light Emitting Surfaces (LES), the CoB array is very easy to work with and will enable easier and less expensive designs. Core Range Gen 3 LED provides efficacies of >160 lm/W for 70CRI and 80CRI devices.

All Lumileds LUXEON CoB arrays are available in a single 3-step and a single 5-step MacAdam Ellipse, ensuring uniform optical performance in the application. Additionally, all LUXEON CoB's are hot-tested at 85°C real-world operating conditions, which means that luminaire design is simplified and testing can be minimized.
