
Microchip Technology RN4678 BLUETOOTH® Dual Mode Modules
Microchip Technology RN4678 BLUETOOTH® Dual-Mode Modules are designed with an integral ceramic chip antenna and RF shield to embed BLUETOOTH functionality into any application. These modules transfer data through the BLUETOOTH link by sending/receiving data through Transparent UART in the BLE mode and SPP in the Bluetooth (BT) Classic mode. The RN4678 BLUETOOTH modules feature a 2.4GHz transceiver, onboard BLUETOOTH stack, RF power amplifier, and power management subsystem. These modules consist of castellated pads for easy and reliable host PCB mounting.The RN4678 BLUETOOTH modules can independently maintain a low-power wireless connection and are compatible with standard pick-and-place equipment. These modules consist of an ASCII interface that provides an easy way to integrate the module with any MCU with a UART interface. The parameters of the modules can be configured directly through UART by the host MCU.
