Qorvo QPA1724D 17.3GHz to 21.2GHz GaN Power Amplifier
Qorvo QPA1724D 17.3GHz to 21.2GHz 20W GaN Power Amplifier implements Qorvo's production 0.15um GaN-on-SiC process (QGaN15). The high-power, packaged K-Band MMIC amplifier offers a 17.3GHz to 21.2GHz Satcom band supplying 5W of linear power with third-order intermodulation distortion products of 22dBc. Additionally, the QPA1724D can deliver up to 20W of output power with 25dB of small-signal gain and 30% power-added efficiency.
The Qorvo QPA1724D Amplifier includes an integrated power detector to support system diagnostics and other requirements.
The QPA1724D is fully matched to 50Ω with DC-grounded I/O ports for ideal ESD performance, simplifying system integration. Furthermore, the device has on-chip blocking capacitors following the DC ground on the input and output ports.
The GaN power amplifier supports communications and radar applications in both military and commercial markets.
The QPA1724D is 100% DC and RF tested to guarantee compliance with electrical specifications.
