TDK-Micronas HVC 5481G Programmable Gate Drivers

TDK-Micronas HVC 5481G Programmable Gate Drivers are automotive programmable system-on-chip (SoC) devices for controlling an external power bridge with six N-channel FETs. These devices drive actuators, fans, and pumps in electric and hybrid electric vehicles. HVC 5481G Programmable Gate Drivers are compatible with existing HVC 5x family software, integrating an Arm® Cortex®-M3 CPU with 64KB Flash memory and 8KB SRAM. These TDK-Micronas controllers operate directly from the 12V automotive supply rail and integrate a LIN transceiver for communication. These AEC-Q100-certified ICs support various motor control algorithms from sensorless six-step commutation using back EMF (BEMF) detection to single shunt field-oriented control (FOC). The HVC 5481G includes seven general-purpose IO pins, internal timers, and capture compare registers.
