Texas Instruments TPS1211Q1EVM Driver Evaluation Module (EVM) allows TI's TPS12110-Q1 controller reference circuit evaluation. The Texas Instruments TPS12110-Q1 is a 3.5V-40V smart high-side controller with two-level adjustable over current protection. It includes an adjustable circuit breaker timer, overvoltage protection, fast short-circuit protection, accurate analog current monitor output, and remote over-temperature protection features.

Required Equipment

  • Power Supplies
    • One adjustable power supply with 0V to 40V output and 0A to 50A output current limit
  • Meters
    • One DMM minimum is needed
  • Oscilloscope
    • A DPO2024 or equivalent, three ten-times voltage probes, and a DC current probe
  • Loads
    • One resistive load or equivalent
    • It needs to be able to tolerate up to 50A DC load at 40V and capable of the output short
