The miniature connectors are ideal for reducing the size, weight, and power (SWaP) of next-generation UAVs. The Wildcat connectors are suitable for aerospace, defense, and transportation applications, enabling extended mission deployments and improved fuel efficiency.

The TE Connectivity Wildcat connectors, now available at Mouser, come in multiple housing sizes, contact layouts, and coupling options, making them suitable for a wide range of space-constrained applications. The Wildcat series also offers an easy-grip couple ring and triple-start threat for fast mating and unmating in high-density designs. The connectors feature black zinc nickel plating, are thermally cycled tested, and are environmentally sealed to IP67 when mated.

The Wildcat connectors for UAVs are designed to withstand harsh conditions, including vibration and exposure to fuels, oils, and cleaning fluids. The TE Wildcat connectors also feature interfacial and wire sealing, a positive locking coupling mechanism, and a scoop-proof interface.
