Pico Technology Current Probes (Clamps) enable designers to measure currents without breaking the electrical circuit. These current clamps are designed with jaws that can be opened, placed around the conductor, and clamped shut to form a magnetic loop around the conductor. These clamp-on current probes, or current clamps, can be used with PicoScope Oscilloscopes, PicoLog Data Loggers, and all major brands of oscilloscopes and multimeters. Pico Technology Current Probes (Clamps) provide a safe, simple, accurate, and cost-effective way to take current measurements.

TA138 Current Clamp

Pico Technology TA138 Current Clamp is fitted with 4mm banana plug connectors and is designed for AC-only current measurements. The single-range device is capable of measurements from 0.1A to 200A. The TA138 offers a 16mm maximum conductor size, 1kΩ maximum output impedance, 40Hz to 400Hz bandwidth, and 0°C to +50°C operating temperature range. Pico Technology TA138 Current Clamp is ideal for use with the PicoLog CM3 Current Data Logger or compatible measuring instrument.
