Hammond Manufacturing Type 4 Mild Steel Wallmount Disconnect Enclosures are designed for house safety disconnect equipment. These safety equipment are ABB controls, Allen Bradley, General Electric, Siemens I-T-E, and Square D. The Type 4 mild steel enclosures come in different variants, such as continuous Hinge Door with defeater handle (1447SHK) and continuous hinge door with clamps (1447SN4). These enclosures are constructed with formed 14-gauge steel, continuously welded seams, and larger sizes, including door and body stiffeners. The Type 4 enclosures comply with UL 508A Type 4, 12, and 13, NEMA Type 4, 12, and 13, and IEC 60529, IP66 rating.
