Mouser-Sponsored IndyCar Team Eyes Strong Finish at Monterey

Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser-Sullivan driver Sebastien Bourdais earned 23 points at the Grand Prix of Portland, pulling within just four points of tenth place in the driver standings.

September 18, 2019 - Mouser Electronics and Molex will be cheering on Sebastien Bourdais and the No. 18 Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser-Sullivan car as this year's thrilling season comes to an end with the final race in Monterey, Calif., on Sept. 22.

Coming off the nail-biting IndyCar race at the Portland International Speedway in Oregon, driver Bourdais is gearing up for the season's last race. He earned 23 points at the Grand Prix of Portland, pulling within just four points of tenth place in the driver standings. Bourdais avoided the multicar crash on the opening lap and expertly piloted the Mouser- and Molex-sponsored No. 18 car to a top-10 finish.

Bourdais secured the fastest lap of the weekend in Portland and earned his eighth top-10 finish so far this season, including an April podium finish in Alabama. The team looks to end the season on a high note as the 2019 season comes to an end at the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey. Bourdais and the No. 18 car have led a total of seven laps this season and look to increase that during the final race.
